On reflection...
the days between Christmas and New Year are often a time to relax, wind down a little, after the pre Christmas rush, and reflect on the past year, and think forward to your hopes for the coming year...
I think looking back 2013 has been a year of recovery, for our little family, we are recovering from the sad loss of a close family member in 2012 and all that, that brings... I myself had two small hospital stays during 2012 and finally made a full recovery in Spring 2013. On a brighter note we enjoyed a family holiday on the Kent/East Sussex border in May, with a visit to wonderful Charleston Farmhouse, Monks House and Sissinghurst Castle, very much highlights of the trip for me.

We also enjoyed a lovely sunny Summer, which is always a blessing!
towards the end of the year we discovered the joys of lovely Norwich, with a return visit planned for 2014.
Looking forward I have lots of hopes for 2014, I am hoping 2014 will be a good year for us all!..
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!

Charleston is on my list for a visit, my son and family live not too far away so it's on the cards. Norwich is lovely, my local city, glad you enjoyed it! Happy New Year!
