In the steps of Virginia Woolf...

as well as visiting the wondrous Charleston Farmhouse, we took a trip to Monks House, the country home of author Virginia Woolf and her husband Leonard... Virginia was also the sister of Vanessa Bell.

This was my first visit to Monks House. One of my favourite things was that large quirky lampshade!

We also visited lovely Lewes, which I loved! Full of independent shops and lots of antique and secondhand shops. My kind of shopping!
