A Day Trip..
We set off early on a sunny Sunday morning, on what is now, our annual trip to Sandringham, with the intention of picking apples and stocking up on cider and fruit juice. On arrival it soon becme clear the PYO farm was closed and all the apples had been picked! Apparently it has been a bad year and the farm was only open for a fortnight this year, so we stocked up with ready picked apples, cider and fruit juice from the Sandringham shop and carried on driving up the coast road, through all the pretty Norfolk villages, through Wells-next-the-Sea and past the Blakeney turn to our lunch destination. We took the track from the road that leads to Wiveton Hall Farm Shop and Cafe...
We sat outside on this occasion, as we had our dog Ruby with us, lunch was delicious (all homemade, using local and fresh produce) and served on Emma Bridgewater crockery. We purchased jams and chutneys, aswell as some plants from the farm shop and took a little walk around the grounds...
I really love the photo of the cottage and the pigs! All my photo's are of outdoors, I didn't feel comfortable asking to take photo's of the interior whilst people were eating, but if you like colour, like me, it really is a joy! Lots of pink and lots of cake....more info can be found here
Highly recommended if you are in the area
Have a lovely weekend!
